Women Build

Women Build is a Habitat for Humanity project which brings women together to actively address the problems of children living in sub-standard housing and become part of the solution-one house, one family at a time. Women join together to organize, raise funds, and build a Habitat home.

The 2009-2010 Women Build home began on Oct 10, 2009. Building will continue on most Saturdays through mid-January 2010. Monica Putnam is the homeowner of this sixth Women Build house. She works at Target in Huntersville and has a 12 year old son, Christian.

 

Lowe's is a national partner of the Women Build initiative.
